This is the dog that caused us all to worry so much this morning after she fell off the chair. She seemed to have hurt herself and I was concerned that she had hit her head. I was really worried. Isn't it funny how attached we can become to a dog? Or maybe not. Posted by Hello

well i guess i just want unconditional love and loyalty so i will be tempted to abuse my power...and then not abuse it...and then be pleased with myslef for allowing goodness to prevail in my very being...look at the big eyes on him (or her)....i just want something with eyes to look at me...without malice....
oohee...i am full of shite this evening...

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned her before, Caitlin. Hmm, maybe I was just calling her Belle and not mentioning who "Belle" was.

Anyway, as you can see I'm having fun with the digital camera. And also, it is hard to get her to sit still for photos as she doesn't trust cameras. That picture turned out pretty well.

I swear I have no recollection of you mentioning you have a dog before. How old is she?

She's ten years old. We got her in 1994. She's a female Beagle.

Well I'll have to have everyone over sometime this week. The house will seem so empty otherwise.

I dunno, Joel, unconditional love kind of weirds me out. I think that's why I like cats; they hate you and make no bones about you.

But I would like to meet the Beagle. (and, like Joel, I have no intention of molesting it)

anders you ought to be careful here...i know for a fact that when people say they are not intending to molest your animals...they are in fact fully intending to molest your animals...

most particularly in cases when they say such things as..."unconditional love kind of weirds me out"...and "i eat far to may white rabbits"....

keep these people away from your pooch...

I hate that word.."pooch"...they use it in magazines when they dont want to use dog...for fear of repetition...

Liable, Ms. "whip the chicken!" Put that in your pipe and smoke it. And anyway, unconditional love seems--unattainable in humans, so its presence in dogs is kind of insulting, really. What, I can't love other humans without condition? Stupid, selfish human nature preventing a detached sort of love.

Anyway, enough rantiness. Rabies knows she used the wrong "to" in that post, but was too lazy to change it.
